The Sanctuary Computer Donations Program has provided over 150 recycled computers to former refugees in the Coffs Harbour area since 2017, making a substantial impact on both the lives of locals and the environment. Most are newly arrived refugees, on low-incomes and really appreciate receiving this help.
These computers are helping families to access English learning resources, connect with government services online, helping school students with their studies, helping job seekers find work and keeping families in touch with family overseas (that they may be trying to sponsor).
How to Donate a Computer
We are always happy to receive working, good condition laptops from companies, individuals and educational institutions working within Australia. We are able to wipe the computers to Department of Defence Standard if required to do so. If available, we appreciate receiving original operating system disks, if they came with the computer and any driver disks. Please contact Mark on (02)66522127
Computer Availability
Applicants within Coffs Harbour area who wish to receive a computer should call (02) 66522127 to make an appointment (bringing all appropriate documentation) so that we can put their name on a waiting list.

Our Partners
Sanctuary has partnered with Australian company Atlassian and Crescent Foundation to provide laptops and we are truly appreciative of their great support. Sanctuary has received grant funding from the NSW Government and the Harold Mitchell Foundation which will be used to build this successful program further. Infoxchange has kindly provided a donation of copies of Microsoft Office 2010 to go onto the donated machines, along with Kobo readers.
We appreciate the support of any computer experts who can volunteer to donate their time to assist former refugees with setting up their computers. Please contact us for further information.
